What Does a Horse Joint Supplement Do?

Cartilage has no blood supply of its own. It relies on synovial fluid to carry nutrients in and waste out. Under training load, the rate of cartilage breakdown outpaces the rate of repair. A joint supplement provides the raw materials your horse's body needs to close that gap: glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate for cartilage matrix, MSM to reduce inflammatory signalling, hydrolyzed collagen for connective tissue integrity, and hyaluronic acid to maintain synovial fluid viscosity.

The format matters for feeding. Powder has to dissolve before it can be used. Artico Gold is already in solution, so there is no dissolving step and nothing to soak.
