Healthy digestion, healthy horse
Gastric ulcers, reduced appetite and lethargy: common problems that start with digestion. Our supplements help restore the balance.
Common digestive problems in horses
The equine digestive system is sensitive. Stress, dietary changes and intensive training can quickly cause problems.
Gastric ulcers
Many sport horses develop gastric ulcers due to stress, concentrate feeds and irregular feeding. Symptoms include reduced appetite, weight loss and irritability.
Disrupted gut flora
Antibiotics, transport and sudden dietary changes disrupt the balance of gut bacteria. This leads to reduced nutrient absorption and resistance.
Acidosis
A concentrate ration that is too high lowers the pH in the hindgut. The result: reduced fibre fermentation, gas formation and discomfort.
Poor feed conversion
When digestion is not working optimally, your horse extracts less energy and nutrients from feed. This results in loss of condition.
How supplements support digestion
PH is specifically developed to regulate stomach acidity. The combination of calcium carbonate, sodium bicarbonate and lithothamnion buffers excess stomach acid and creates a protective layer on the gastric mucosa.
Tonic supports liver function and the immune system. Because the liver is central to metabolism, good liver drainage improves overall digestion and energy management.
Both supplements are developed with over 20 years of expertise and contain only ingredients verified safe by an FEI-approved laboratory.
